The company has shown through its recently emerged social media presence in the nation that it is launching the Amazfit Bip and Stratos versions in India on July 24. The two smartwatches are compatible with both Android and iOS devices and powered by Bluetooth connectivity. Though the Amazfit Bip with a square always-on screen was launched in February at $99 (roughly Rs. 6,800), the Amazfit Stratos using a traditional-looking round dial comes in $199.99 (nearly Rs. 13,600).Xiaomi-Backed Amazfit Bip, Stratos Smartwatches India Launch Teased for July 24
Since suggested throughout the header image showcased on the official Amazfit India Twitter accounts, Huami is currently in development to launch both Amazfit Bip and Amazfit Stratos from the nation. The image does not define the smartwatch models, though it shows the round dial and the square display to highlight the arrival of the two new models. What’s more, the Chinese company also tweeted that a teaser picture to put emphasis on its launch programs. “When performance, power, and invention unite, a revolution occurs. See it unveil in India on 24th July,” the firm said in the tweet.

The Amazfit Bip comes with a 1.28-inch transflective always-on colour display which comes with a 176×176 pixels of resolution and can be protected with a 2.5D arch Gorilla Glass 3. The smartwatch has an IP68-certified build that includes PPG heart rate sensor, triaxial acceleration sensor, geomagnetic sensor, barometric pressure sensor, and GPS + GLONASS one of additional detectors. Additionally, it packs a 190mAh battery lithium polymer battery that is touted to provide as much as four weeks of usage below the watch manner on a single charge. On routine usage, the smartwatch is rated to have a battery life of around 30 days.

Amazfit Stratos specifications
Unlike the Amazfit Bip, Amazfit Stratos includes a 1.34-inch (320×300 pixels) always-on circular LCD panel with a 2.5D arch Corning Gorilla protection. It is accompanied by a range of sensors, such as air pressure sensor, ambient lighting, geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, optical heart rate sensor (PPG), and tri-axis accelerometer. There’s a 5 ATM water-resistant construct and a 290mAh lithium ion battery that’s touted to provide as many as five days of battery life on a single charge.

The Amazfit Bip and Stratos equally include Bluetooth v4.0 LE connectivity support. The Stratos also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g.
