Oppo Find X is all Place to be launched at India Now, in an event in New Delhi.
To remember the flagship smartphone has been globally unveiled in a Paris event a month, and the Oppo Find X boasted of a publication motorised camera slider mechanism which houses both the front and back cameras. The purpose behind the design decision was to minimise bezels on the display, a trend that has seen choices like the screen top notch, front camera at the bottom panel, and a pop-up front camera. Other highlights of the Oppo Find X include 3D facial recognition, AI-based camera features like front camera style, the top-end Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of inbuilt storage, an all-glass body, in addition to fast charging. At its launching in Paris, the Oppo Find X price was put at EUR 999 (approximately Rs. 79,000), with availability in August. The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Find X runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and sports a 6.42-inch (1080×2340 pixels) full-HD+ AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s powered through an octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB of RAM.

As we mentioned, the Oppo Find X sports a motorised camera slider that contains both front and rear cameras, and rises if needed, including to unlock the smartphone using 3D facial recognition. The company calls its own facial scanning technology O-Face Recognition, and like the iPhone X it uses and IR detector and 15,000 dot projection to better recognise and analyse a face.

The Oppo Find X’s rear double camera setup features a 16-megapixel main detector camera with LED flash, OIS and f/2.0 aperture, and also a 20-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. It sports a 25-megapixel front camera using f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone packs a 3730mAh battery with VOOC charging. The Oppo Find X dimensions measure at 156.7×74.3×9.4mm, and it weighs approximately 186 grams.
